Hi! I am C/Ablaza, Margarita, but most of the cadets that know me out of ROTC call me Marga. I’m 15 years old and my birthday is on October 3rd. I am currently a junior and am part of UDT (Unarmed Drill Team). I work at Cold Stone and I’m really short. Well, not really but, C/Manuel, and C/Mendoza ALWAYS make fun of me for it. I first joined ROTC two weeks into the year. I was a bit behind, but I caught up. It was a whole different experience for me. Having to get up in front of a bunch of people you hardly know and yelling at the top of your lungs the 1st OTS was very nerve wracking. However, as time passed, I learned to love it. I was the first Honor Guard female and I didn’t really know what that meant and what an honor it was, until a few months after. Then, I joined UDT and met so many people that, until now, give the best advice and guidance. As you can see, I am Military Ball CO. For those of you NS1s that don’t know what that is; it is a social event where all of the cadets in the unit get dressed up and dance! It’s like a JROTC prom (: I will try my hardest to make this Ball very memorable for all of you and hope that you have a wonderful time. BTW – Join Military Ball Committee! ALALALALFAAA! -C/PO2 Ablaza
